Download Agent

To manage servers using ScaleXtreme, our agent software must be installed on the servers you wish to manage. ScaleXtreme's convenient Download Agent feature lets you download the specific installation package required to install the agent on your operating system (Windows, RedHat/Centos, and  Debian/Ubuntu) and shows you the simple steps for manually installing the agent on your servers. 

The Download Agent tool is useful for installing the agent on servers that are behind a firewall and cannot be accessed via http, such as servers running in a private cloud, or servers (virtual or physical) running in your on-premise data center.

To install the agent using the Download Agent tool:

1. In the top navigation bar, click on Download Agent.

   

    

2. Select your server's OS from the drop-down menu. Then, follow the steps shown to download and install the agent on your servers. Make sure to download the correct installation package for your system architecture (i.e. 32- or 64-bit).
