If you don’t have a machine available for testing, and want to try out ScaleXtreme's cloud-based system management features, your best bet is to head over to Amazon EC2. They have a great introductory deal for anyone who wants to try out public cloud computing, which includes a free “micro” instance for new customers. Amazon calls this their “Free Tier." You can read more about this offer and sign up for a "Free Tier" account at http://aws.amazon.com/free/.
Once you've setup your free account at Amazon, come on back to ScaleXtreme at https://manage.scalextreme.com, add your new EC2 account to your free ScaleXtreme Xpress account, and you're ready to go -- launch servers, explore filesystems, manage files, monitor performance, create new scripts, buy scripts from our App Store, automate recurring tasks, launch pre-configured server templates with application stacks rolled in. Experience the power and convenience of managing your servers in the cloud with ScaleXtreme.
